UCL accreditation - MSc Sustainable Heritage

13 June 2006

RICS has accredited the MSc Sustainable Heritage: Built Environment offered by University College London's (UCL's) Bartlett School. Established in 2004, the programme promotes interdisciplinary teamwork among the different strands of cultural heritage: historic buildings, collections, sites and landscapes. The programme is geared to RICS' Building Surveying Faculty and is aimed at professionals engaged in preservation of the built heritage, combining heritage preservation and sustainable development.

All students undertake a two-week visit to Malta, where they study a site under the management of Heritage Malta. Students are also encouraged to do a work placement whilst on the programme, with organisations such as English Heritage or UNESCO.

Please see the attached links for more information and details of available scholarships.
