I have AS levels or Scottish Highers and I don't want to go to university
If you have AS levels or Scottish Highers you can progress you can progress onto an RICS accredited degree or BTEC/SCOTVEC HND or HNC while at work. These part-time qualifications lead towards full or technical membership of RICS and the ability to put the MRICS or TechRICS letters after your name. The Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT) allows individuals aged 16 - 24 to become chartered surveyors. Alongside your college or university studies, you will work for a surveying practice for four days a week. You will be paid a salary by your employer, which is dependant on your ability, qualifications and, most importantly, your performance.
I have GCSE's or GNVQ's or NVQ's and I want to go to university
If you don't have AS levels or Scottish Highers, but you have GCSE's, or have and advanced GNVQ/GSVQ or S/NVQ, you can progress to a BTEC/SCOTVEC HND or HNC. These intermediate qualifications may provide you with an advanced entry onto an RICS accredited degree or diploma course. I have GCSE's or GNVQ's or NVQ's and I don't want to go to university
