Routes to membership

We have developed a number of routes to enable individuals - from school-leavers to professional advisors in land, property and construction - to gain full RICS status. Each of these offers an internationally recognised professional qualification that will increase your status in the sector that you operate within.

The correct level of RICS membership and qualification to suit you will depend on your current level of professional experience, the qualifications that you hold and the role that you fulfil at present.

At the start of your career, you can become a student member. Or, if you already have practical experience, you can take advantage of several routes to membership depending on your precise circumstances.

"I use the RICS logo because it signals authority, legitimacy and authenticity of professionalism."
Guido Kapiris MRICS, GM Kapiris, Nicosia, Cyprus
