NVQ Internal Verifiers

 

 

NVQ internal verifiers are responsible for :

  • Ensuring consistant reliable assessment decisions are made by NVQ assessors
  • Monitoring the quality of assessment and highlighting problems, trends and development needs of assessors
  • Verifying assessments and monitoring assessment practice
  • Standardising assessment judgements
  • Upholding and adhering to the roles and responsibilities of the internal verifier
  • Attending at least two CPD events annually focusing on NVQ assessment and verification
  • Keeping up to date with their occupational competency.

NVQ internal verifiers must be:

  • Occupationally competant
  • D34 or V1 award qualified or undertaking training towards their V1 award
  • TechRICS, MRICS or FRICSand normally have at least 3 years of post qualification experience.
