RICS is currently finalising details of a new application process and once details have been confirmed we will update these pages and respond to enquirers as soon as possible.

Steps to making an application:

1. Review What is an NVQ.
2. Review the National Occupational Standards for the NVQ you wish to undertake, available on the ABBE website.
3. Download and complete the relevant questionnaire for your preferred NVQ and e-mail it to nvq@rics.org or send it to the NVQ Centre, RICS, Westwood Way, Coventry, West Midlands CV4 8JE, along with your current CV and job description.
4. An occupationally competent Lead Internal Verifier will review your application to assess your eligibility for the qualification.
5. You will receive written feedback one month before the next candidate induction. For a full list of induction dates, please see the what to expect pages. 
6. If you are in a suitable position and have the correct level of experience, you will be requested to complete an NVQ application form. Upon return of the application form, you will be invited to a candidate induction and invoiced for the fee's.
7. An NVQ Level 3 costs £2750 and an NVQ level 4 is £3000. The NVQ level 4 specified units route costs £2750.
