The Minerals and Waste Management Faculty is the home within RICS for professionals involved in the minerals and waste arena including aggregate extraction, ground engineering and subsidence, landlord and tenant issues and waste generation and disposal activities.
RICS faculties are responsible for setting the strategic direction for the future of their specialisms and for identifying and serving the information needs of their members.

The Minerals and Waste Management Faculty has approximately 6,800 members who benefit from:

The faculty is also responsible for setting and maintaining the APC/ATC competencies that make up the APC/ATC pathways for the Minerals and Waste Management Chartered Surveyor and contributing to the professional assessment of mature entry candidates.

Members of the Minerals and Waste Management Faculty Board come from a variety of backgrounds and have a diverse range of skills and experience.
