Several new members were given a warm welcome to RICS matrics Derbyshire during a tapas evening this month.
The New Members Reception, held at the Rendezvous Bar in Matlock, was attended by more than 30 members, who enjoyed a free bar and good food throughout the evening.
Existing matrics members, were joined by Derbyshire Local Association committee members and RICS training advisor, Jon Lever, to welcome the new members aboard.
The event was RICS matrics Derbyshire’s first social event in Matlock and was hailed a success by all involved.
Sally Lewis, chairman of RICS matrics Derbyshire, said: "It was great to see so many new members and existing members in the north of Derbyshire. We believe it is important to develop the membership across the whole of the county and we are keen to further develop the networking and CPD events held in this part of the county.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a successful event, which we hope to build on in the future."
A business card prize draw held during the reception, to win a bottle of champagne, was won by Mark Pountney of GB Building Solutions.
The next RICS matrics Derbyshire event will be Tips, Trips and Traps of Property Management on Wednesday 14 May.
