Event Overview
RICS matrics Nottinghamshire are this year’s hosts of the RICS matrics East Midlands Regional Five-a-Side Football Tournament.
Last year 14 teams battled it out to be crowned the champions of the East Midlands. This year’s winning team will be awarded the coveted shield plus a winner’s medal each, and will qualify for the RICS matrics national football finals to be played August 2008 in London.
Throughout the event, the RICS will have exclusive use of the balcony area (where guests will be able to cheer on the finalists!) and the function room.
Following the tournament everyone can enjoy a celebration reception. Delicious barbeque food will be provided and a free bar will be available from kick-off of the final until our generous budget has been spent.
Each team will be guaranteed 45 minutes of playing time, with more for those who reach the knockout stages. Every game will be officiated by FA affiliated referees.
Each team can have up to seven players, of which at least five must be RICS members.

Non-playing guests
For those not wishing to play football but would like to come along and support friends and colleagues, we are offering a supporter rate of £6 (inc VAT) per person. This will give you entry to the tournament and you can enjoy the barbeque and drinks.
