Jenny Walkerdine from King Sturge has now taken over the role as Chairman of RICS matrics Nottinghamshire for the year 2007/2008.

Jenny would like to say a big thank you to Neil Thompson (the outgoing chair) and the rest of the committee who did such a great job last year and hopes that her year as chairman will be just as successful. We hope that the RICS matrics Nottinghamshire committee will continue to grow from strength to strength.

The Chairman’s Reception was held on 26 July 2007 at Prohibition. The event was a great success with attendees from across the professions including bankers, solicitors, developers and of course surveyors.  Within this group as well as the usual suspects it was encouraging to see a lot of new faces looking to actively get involved with other professions on both a business and more pertinently social basis.

If anyone is interested in coming along to any of our committee meetings they are more than welcome, meetings are held approximately every 6 weeks at the new venue Cast (next to the Playhouse), details are on the RICS website.
