RICS matrics Suffolk has been re-launched and is already planning some exciting events.

Following a successful meeting of the Ipswich and Suffolk Club earlier this year, a new committee has been formed. It is being led by newly appointed chairman Lauren Jacomb, of Strutt and Parker.

Also appointed to the new committee are Ed Harkness, as vice chair; Jac Cumiskey, as secretary; Katy Baggott, as social chair; and Richard Newman, as treasurer.

Lauren said: "We’ve agreed that a mixture of ‘fun’ CPD and networking should be our objective going forward and activity suggestions include site visits to Felixstowe Docks and Greene King in Bury St Edmunds and an APC forum with Jon Lever.

"Other possibilities include a trip to Surveyors 7’s in Richmond, a trip to Newmarket Races, a summer sports day and barbecue and a summer boat trip."
