RICS matrics Victoria & Tasmania organised a coach trip to the Annual Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival.

The event celebrates the beginning of harvest time, involves the opening of the wineries for a weekend of live music, good food and frivolities and annually attracts over 20 000 people.

This year, there was to be an additional 26 people at the festival, organised and led by Neil Richardson of Rider Hunt Melbourne, representing the RICS.

The coach picked up everyone at 1000 in the Melbourne CBD, and was at the first winery by 1130.

In total, three wineries were visited, and a lot of wine was drunk.  The temperature on the day reached 34 degrees, and shade was sought by all.

Of course, those in the know spread out rugs and relaxed, those not so prepared shared whatever space and shade there was available.

After the third winery and the last bands had finished playing the RICS coach returned to town, via a refreshment and toilet stop, and then proceeded to continue partying into the early hours of the following morning.

Many thanks for a great day (and night) were received from all those who attended and the majority have already booked for next year's RICS coach.
