Event overview
Wow, what a fantastic night!

The evening began with a drinks reception in Davis Langdon’s offices at 1830; with nearly 50 people turning up by 1900 the room was alive and the networking had begun.

With this the evening then progressed to the presentation when Elwyn Nicol, Senior Development Manager for SEEDA, presented 'Chatham Maritime Past, Present and Future' from which we had fantastic responses.

After the presentation the masses churned out to swiftly dispatch the fantastic food put on and try their 007 skills on Roulette and Black Jack tables.

Throughout the evening a number of fund raising events were put on; firstly, our first and very successful Kent matrics charity auction which was very kindly led by Alan White of Clive Emsons and raised in excess of £300 for LionHeart, with prizes including 4 tickets to Brands Hatch, 13 bottles of luxury wines and a R/C helicopter to name a few prizes. In addition to this, Kent matrics also raised an additional £120 in our prize raffle for an Ipod shuffle kindly donated by Stiles Harold Williams.

An excellent evening was had by all and we hope that all that attended had a good night.

Many thanks go to Stiles Harold Williams, Davis Langdon, Cluttons, Watson Day, Colyer Commercial, Clive Emson, SEEDA and Simply Golf for their fantastic generosity and contribution to making this successful event happen.

Many thanks also go to our chairman and all the other members of matrics in organising this fantastic event.

This was a great day and we look forward to seeing all the new faces in events to come.
