RICS matrics North Staffs recently held the local heats of the RICS matrics 5 a-side 2008 football tournament, which took place at Staffordshire University. Teams from twelve local companies competed in a league system with the top two teams in each group going through to the semi-finals.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council Property Services (Team A) played Prosurv in the final resulting in Property Services (Team A) coming out on top. As winners, Property Services gained entry to the next round of the national tournament, however, as they are unable to submit a team, runners-up Prosurv have accepted the challenge.
