The green light has been given by the RICS for the registration RICS Mauritius Group as an Association.

Registration with the Mauritian government is essential if the activities of the RICS in Mauritius are to develop.

Discussions are being held with the Registrar of Associations and it is anticipated that the Group will be in a positition to be inaugurated in March or April 2007.

The RICS lunches have proved to be a very popular way for members to meet on a regular basis.

Held about four times a year, the mixture of speakers and update briefings provide the backdrop to a relaxing event. 

The next RICS luncheon is planned for Wednesday 17 January 2007 at the Gymkhana Club.
