Welcome to the RICS.org section for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria is located in Western Africa, bordering the Gulf of Guinea, between Benin and Cameroon.
The Nigerian economy is mainly based on oil-production, which provides 20% of GDP. Increases in foreign investment and oil production combined with high world oil prices are currently the main drivers of growth.
There are approximately 200 Chartered Surveyors in Nigeria, the majority specialising in Quantity Surveying, General Practice, or Geomatics.
