The Annual cricket tournament, between Property and Construction people and Quantity Surveyors, took place on Wednesday 5th March.

With invites being sent out by the AIQS, SSI and the RICS, there were 40 confirmed attendees. The RICS Vic & Tas event was sponsored by Walton Construction, and the weather was a typical Melbourne warm summer night and the event was all set to be a classic.

The property and construction team won the toss, and elected to field first. This proved to be a decisive move, as the Quantity Surveyors were all out for 64 after 10 overs. Hence, after some heroic batting display from Mark Coulter of Napier and Blakely, the Property and construction team triumphed after 9 overs.

Everyone then retreated to the sanctity of the esky and BBQ, provided by and kindly cooked by Kevin Tuson of Walton Construction. After several hours of debriefing, discussion and general networking, the night drew to a close as the light fell, but not before a few more practice innings took place.
