Following last night's site visit, Richard Fowler MRICS would like to thank the 35 members of RICS New Zealand and CIOB who attended the visit to the Auckland University Business School. 

On behalf of RICS and CIOB, Richard would also like to thank the Dean, Barry Spicer, to Paul, Beca Project Manager, and to RICS members Deborah Levy MRICS and John Light FRICS for organising the event.

Those who attended were unfortunately unable to view the tower during this particular visit but felt the Podium theatres were most impressive and definitely worth a mention.  Although many were surprised to find such a hugh complex underground.

There are already plans in the making to re-visit the University Business School in October just before completion.

However, for many the evening didn't end there, an evening of drinks and light bites had been organised at the nearest ale house and 20 members gathered to chat over the site visit and plan the next event on the calendar for RICS New Zealand.
