RICS Derbyshire enjoyed an afternoon at the historic Chatsworth Estate in the Peak District.
More than 40 members of the local association took part in the event at the famous stately home, which kicked off with tea on the balcony of the carriage house restaurant.
Members were then greeted by Nick Wood MRICS, agent for the Estate, who gave an insight into the running of the farm yard, adventure playground, farm shop and the barns at Pilsley, which incorporate offices and a wildlife artist’s studio.
However, the highlight for many was a guided tour of Robert Evans’ micro brewery (Peak Ales), which include free samples of the brews.
The visit concluded with a scrumptious meal in the Burlington Room of Chatsworth House.
Due to the success of the trip, RICS Derbyshire is now hoping to organise a return visit in spring next year, incorporating a behind the scenes tour of the estate.
