Following the huge success of its tour of Norwich Cathedral a couple of years ago, RICS matrics Norfolk is planning to visit Norwich’s other cathedral later this month.
The group are planning a guided tour of the grounds and interior of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedral, the second largest Catholic cathedral in the UK, on Wednesday 21 May.
The event will include a trip up the tower, all 270 steps, to get a spectacular view of the City of Norwich skyline and some historical information on the famous Norwich landmark, which became the mother church of the new diocese of East Anglia in 1976.
The tour will start at 6.30 pm and will last 45 minutes to an hour. Entry is £3 each (additional donations gratefully received) and there is a maximum of 20 on any one tour so tickets will be offered on a first come first served basis. After the tour the group are planning to go for a drink in a nearby pub.
Payment is due on the day but places must be booked in advance. There is parking for the cathedral at the top of Earlham Road in Norwich.
