A relaxing river cruise was the latest highlight in the RICS matrics Essex social calendar.

The group recently took a trip along the river at Little Baddow in Essex to coincide with their AGM.

New members joined existing members to discuss the group’s key business and reflect on its successes during the past year as they floated along the river from Papermill Lock, enjoying the beautiful river views as well as some light refreshments.

The group’s new committee (pictured) was also agreed during the event. Outgoing chairman, Nicky Calasse, welcomed the group’s new chair, Paul Bird, to the helm. Supporting him in his new role over the next year will be Tom Ketley, who was appointed vice chairman of RICS matrics Essex.
