Simon Pott, past RICS president and member of RICS East of England regional board, has been elected chairman of The Almshouse Association. 

With some 1700 Almshouse Charities across the country, housing about 38,000 residents, The Almshouse Association plays a major role as an advisor and funder. 

HRH The Prince of Wales, patron of The Almshouse Association congratulated Simon on his new role at a special reception hosted by the association.

In response to his prestigious new role, Simon said: “I’m delighted to be involved with an organisation which deals with people and a range of superb properties around the country.”
