The aims of the RICS South East and its eight local associations are to link locally with business, other professions, media and the public to raise status and promote the profession.
Other aims are to:
- Provide a focus for local surveyors
- Encourage members to come together to discuss general business, market and economic issues.
- Provide generic and cross faculty CPD of interest to all members
- Assist with government/public policy issues from a local perspective
- Contribute local news for regional/local communications with members eg newsletters/websites
- Link with schools and young people on careers promotion.
- Provide social events.
