Event Overview
This conference will look at the hot topics and issues affecting the property sector within the West Midlands.
It will focus on mixed-use developments, from the perspective of both the public and private sector, looking at aspects of planning, infrastructure and transport.
Former Birmingham City Council leader and key regional figure, Councillor Sir Albert Bore, will be the conference key note speaker. Given his extensive involvement in the region and key regeneration schemes, he will be offering his take on the lessons that might be learned as the West Midlands region moves forward as a key player in the national and international arenas.
Anthony Glossop will be providing a case study on the development of the Longbridge site, while Geoff Inskip from Centro will look at the Wolverhampton Interchange project.
In the light of current demand for increased development and housing, Olwen Dutton (West Midlands Regional Assembly) will be discussing their views on the issues of infrastructure.
Mark Griffiths will provide insight into the world’s energy issues and the long term effects on land and property.
