Almost 180 RICS members in North Staffordshire recently attended the annual Local Association dinner at the Stoke-on-Trent Moat House hotel in April.

The business speaker for the evening was David Carr OBE MRICS, Managing Partner, Hulme Upright Manning, who discussed the interaction of different professions in the area. Following him came entertainment from comedian Mick Miller, Professional Comedians' Comedian of the Year 2003 and best known for his performances on the TV show ‘The Comedians’.

Now in its ninth year, the North Staffordshire Dinner has gone from strength to strength and members are already looking forward to next year’s event.
