As part of our media relations programme within the West Midlands we are keen to profile members who have a good story to tell, which in turn helps us to promote the range and diversity of a chartered surveyor's role and the opportunities which exist.
If you have anyone within your team who may be suitable for such a profile, then please let us know. In particular we are looking for:
- Profiling a member to show where a chartered surveyor can add value/save the client money
- Conversions to the profession
- Conversions of students to chartered surveyor linked courses
- Someone who has entered through the non-surveying route – traditional degree then MSc
- The role of the chartered surveyor working on major projects in the West Midlands
- Something out of the ordinary - specialist areas where you don’t normally think chartered surveyor – e.g. rural estates, mining, sports stadia or renewable energy systems
- Involvement in green/low carbon issues, sustainability projects
- Female members who have returned to work recently after maternity leave, have flexible working practices, do very unusual jobs etc - work v life balance.
