RICS West Midlands region is part of the national association of England and one of eleven regions throughout the UK.
The West Midlands region comprises of the West Midlands urban conurbation (Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton and the Black Country) and five Shires (Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire Warwickshire and Worcestershire)- serving almost 8,000 chartered surveyors handling annual business estimated at £130bn.
The chartered surveyors live and work in the region cover all the major surveying disciplines within a diverse geographical area - ranging from the urban conurbations to the strictly rural, with the construction, valuation and building surveyors being in the majority.
