RICS Scotland raises profile of profession

19 March 2008

The Home Report is a hot topic at the moment in the media and RICS Scotland is ensuring chartered surveyors are at the forefront of any debate.

The organisation has been working hard to make sure the public is aware of what the Home Report is as well informing them that an RICS member must carry out the Single Survey, Valuation and the Energy Report aspects of the report when it is introduced from 1 December 2008.

With advice from the Residential Faculty Board, RICS Scotland spokespeople have appeared on many radio and TV news reports as well as in national and regional newspapers across Scotland.

The organisation will keep members up to date with the latest developments such as the terms and conditions of the Single Survey and with the help of a PR agency, will continue to inform the public about the Home Report.

RICS members can find more information on Home Reports here.
