RICS Wales is a National Association. There are over 3, 000 Members in Wales, with the majority in South Wales.
Wales has a devolved Government, the Welsh Assembly Government, with the power to develop and implement policy in a range of key areas.
These powers relate to 'secondary legislation', specifically those areas in which the majority of chartered surveyors operate.
Surveying voice
RICS Wales was established to meet the needs of the Welsh Assembly Government and to ensure a surveying voice was heard on issues affecting land, property, construction and increasingly the environment.
RICS Wales is carving a significant role with the professional and business community in Wales, working with central and local government, educational resources and the Welsh media.
