RICS Education Trust

 

 

RICS set up the RICS Education Trust in 1955 as a registered charity (no. 313744).

Its objectives are to promote and advance, by the provision of grants, scholarships, awards, prizes or otherwise, education and research into matters relating to the theory and practice of surveying in any of its branches.

These projects may be undertaken by chartered surveyors or other persons who are in the opinion of the Trustees adequately qualified for this undertaking.

Under the guidance of its Trustees, the RICS Education Trust is an established and respected charity supporting a wide range of research activities across the globe.

The RICS Education Trust seeks to realise its objectives in a variety of ways:

  • awarding grants, normally up to £5000, to individuals and institutions for the undertaking of research projects
  • maintaining and fostering links and partnerships with other organisations with similar objectives
  • awarding one-off grants to educational projects
