Careers in surveying received national exposure as part of an eight page supplement, which appeared in The Independent on Thursday 14 September 2006.

In addition to a ‘comment‘ column from RICS Chief Executive Louis Armstrong and quotes from RICS staff, members and member firms; the supplement also focussed on skills shortages in the construction industry and the need for more chartered building and quantity surveyors.

To coincide with the supplement, emails were sent to 15 000 RICS student members and 8 000 text messages were also sent to the same audience on the day of the supplement, encouraging them to go out and buy their copy.
