The RICS, in collaboration with the KPI Consortium, is conducting a survey on behalf of BERR (formerly DTI) and the other major consultants’ institutions into performance of the construction consultancy sector.  This survey will provide the primary data source from which the 2009 KPIs for construction consultants will be produced.  The data collected is essential to ensure that construction consultants and their clients have benchmark data that will help improve performance in line with clients’ needs. 

The RICS are pleased to support this work and urges you to help us to better understand the quality of services that you, the consultant provide, by completing the attached electronic survey.  If any part is not applicable, please leave the question(s) blank and answer the remaining relevant questions.  All responses will be treated in strict confidence and will be used only for the production of KPIs.  No information from an individual project, consultant or client will be recognisable in the published KPIs. 

If you add your name and email at the end of the questionnaire, in return for your help we will send you the feedback of the results when the Construction Consultants KPIs are published in June 2009.  The results from the previous collection, the 2008 KPIs, can be viewed via KPI zone.
