The role of surveyors in EU society

The French Order of Licensed Surveyors (OGE – Ordre des Géomètres-Experts) has decided to hold its next Congress in Strasbourg.

Focussing on EU issues such as the EU Services and Professional Qualifications Directives, this conference contains three main strands:

The surveyor and the consumer: which services for which requirements?

The surveyor and the technological evolution: which contribution for a sustainable development?

Law, the surveyor and property: which skills for which guarantees?

This Congress will be held in a partnership with the two European Surveyors’ organisations, the CLGE (Council of European Geodetic Surveyors) and GE (Geometer Europas).

RICS is a member of CLGE and is represented at GE. RICS will also be represented at the Strasbourg conference.
