RICS Minerals and Waste Management Autumn Conference 2007

This year's RICS Minerals and Waste Management Faculty Autumn Conference took place at the Cedar Court hotel in Wakefield on 28 September 2007.

As in 2006, the conference went off without a hitch and around 55 delegates and sponsors listened to papers exploring the latest developments in the industry and the changes affecting the sector.  The programme for the conference included:

  • Planning for Energy: Lyn McPherson, Nabarro.
  • Can the Planning System Reflect the new Agenda?: Rob Murfin, Yorkshire and Humber Assembly.
  • Securing a Future for Britain’s Coal Industry: David Brewer, CoalPro.
  • Form and Structure of Mineral Option and Lease: Brian Wake, Bowcock Cuerden.
