This year's RICS Minerals and Waste Management Faculty annual conference took place at Makeney Hall hotel in Derbyshire, a splendid Victorian country mansion set in six acres of landscaped gardens. The programme had an excellent line up of speakers that explored the latest developments in the industry and the changes affecting the sector in the UK as well as abroad.
