Environment Agency releases new quarterly briefing on managing flood risk and coastal erosion

The Environment Agency recently released the first issue of a new quarterly briefing entitled Floodnews. It sets out objectives to manage flood risk and coastal erosion in England and Wales, with advice on how you can play your part.

First issue highlights include: 

  • an action plan to help reduce urban flood risk
  • why we need to work together on inland flooding
  • The Environmental Agency's new role on coastal erosion
  • public health issues during a flood
  • raising public awareness of flood risk.
