RICS has responded to the Communities and Local Government consultation on draft guidance for Display Energy Certificates.

Generally RICS considers this to be a good attempt but CLG need to look at jointly occupied buildings and common areas more, Local Authority Departments may be tenants of private landlords in multi-let properties.
