Are you responsible for selecting and monitoring contractors? Are you aware of the legal requirements of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007?
This Act introduces a new offence, across the UK, for prosecuting companies and other organisations where there has been a gross failing, throughout the organisation, in the management of health and safety with fatal consequences.
This year’s conference focuses on the procurement and management of contractors.
Industry experts will provide an update on new legislation, advise on the Client's and Client representatives' CDM duties, measuring competency of contractors and preparing contractors for construction works.
There will also be client and contractor representative views on contractor’s health and safety and the responsibility of permits to work, amongst other essential topics relating to the successful management of contractors.
