RICS eTendering is a web tendering service offered on a pay-per-tender basis to the construction industry. It allows you to run tenders through a secure website. It offers a simple, secure, standard, efficient and cost effective way to manage tenders online.

This is a major opportunity for you to replace existing paper based procedures and achieve significant cost savings, through a more efficient and reliable process.

The service is suitable for tenders of all types and sizes of project. It is fully compliant with EU Procurement Directives and is approved by the Office of Government Commerce. It can be used for public sector as well as private sector tenders. Tenders can be run as either sealed or unsealed.

RICS eTendering was officially launched on 18 October 2007. Speaking at the event, Construction Minister Stephen Timms MP said.
'Procurement in construction needs to be more lean and more efficient, and we need to find ways of reducing waste in procurement for both purchasers and suppliers throughout the supply chain, at the tendering stage and beyond.'
