BCIS Dayworks
25 June 2008
Time
1330 - 1700
Seminar Overview
It is impossible in most contracts to cover all eventualities, which is why Dayworks are a necessary inclusion in any contract. A recent BCIS survey showed that 70% of contracts included a Dayworks clause and Dayworks were actually paid out on 40% of projects.
This seminar will discuss disputes, payment agreements on contracts and the best way to manage Dayworks. You will also receive a free copy of the new BCIS ‘Definition of Prime Cost of Daywork Carried Out Under a Building Contract’.
Programme:
• Contractor employment and how it’s reflected in contracts
• How to successfully manage Dayworks to avoid disputes
• Payment agreements on contracts
• New definitions
• Results of the BCIS survey
• Q&A session.
