These workflows are designed to help understand the regulations in a practical and graphical fashion.


For each of these process diagrams, and effort has been made to demonstrate the steps required in order to conform to the adjudication process.

Along each step, a reference to the actual act has been provided for reference. (The BCIP Act can be downloaded from the Queensland Legislation website).

Please be aware that these documents are a guide only and should not be used as the basis of a dispute.


If you are a claimant:

  1. Contract Validity

    This work process will help you understand if your contract is covered under the BCIP Act.

  2. Payment Claim

    This process will help you establish if your payment claim adheres to guidelines of BCIPA, and will be valid for the adjudication process.

    This process will help you understand how to form a valid payment schedule, in order to answer a payment claim made under the act.
