Service Charge Code – are you ready for it?

Poorly managed service charges are a frequent cause of disputes between owners and occupiers.

In light of this, RICS supported by 5 leading Property Industry Bodies launched a new Guidance note in June 2006 addressing Service Charges in Commercial Property 

By doing so they addressed an increasing need to revise the existing code of practice.

Now, some nine months on the Service Charge Code becomes fully live from April 2007.
