Programme
Session 1 - The market impact of Energy Performance Certificates
The implementation of the Energy Performance Building Directive marks a major change in the way property is considered and therefore valued. This session will look at the latest research into the market impact of EPCs and what this means to today's valuer.
Session 2 - Valuation for loan security
Lean about the latest RICS guidance on best practice in valuations for loan security purposes. The session will consider potential conflicts of interest, the advice a banking client requires from its valuer and how the valuer should tailor the valuation report to meet client needs.
Session 3 - Valuation in an uncertain market
Currently a very hot topic! This session will address the challenges facing the valuer in rapidly changing markets, both rising and falling. It will provide a refresher on the definition of Market Value and seek to five guidance as to how the valuer should exercise their professional judgment with respect to available transactional evidence (or the lack of it) and with prevailingmarket sentiment in fast moving markets.
