Property professionals can benefit greatly from using the wide range of authoritative free-access legislation and case law websites now available.

UK legislation is well covered by OPSI and UK Statute Law Database and there are specific sites for the Scottish, Jersey and Isle of Man jurisdictions.

Case law, both general and specialised, in full report and summary form, is offered by a number of websites:

• BAILII presents the majority of cases from the higher courts
• Adjudication, ADR, arbitration and construction cases are the focus of NADR
• The Lands Tribunal and the Lands Tribunal Scotland have their own website
• CURIA hosts European Court Decisions
• Relevant Tribunal Decisions are widely available e.g. Finance and Tax Tribunals, Residential Property Tribunal Service and LEASE.
