Charity Property Help
Charity Property Help
This pro bono service is designed to assist charities and voluntary organisations, by providing free support and guidance on all property matters in the UK. In partnership with NCVO and CFDG; Charity Property offers a one hour consultation with an RICS regulated member firm free of charge.
Chartered Surveyors Voluntary Service
This charity is managed by RICS and offers property advice to those who would otherwise be unable to access professional help. Volunteer chartered surveyors are able to advise on range of issues generally through a home visit and a follow up report to the advice agency.
BuildAction
As part of the Disaster Management Commission, Build Action provides professional expertise to support under-resourced projects to ensure that vulnerable communities, hit by disaster receive effective professional support in order to improve their chances of social and economic recovery.
Lionheart
This charity, run by RICS members on a Board of Trustees, provides a range of support to past and present members. Experienced advisors offer advice and information to help find solutions or refer to others who can.
Helplines
RICS telephone helplines give 30 minutes free advice on issues in boundary disputes, party walls, compulsory purchase, business rates and real estate needs. Lines are open every weekday between 0830 and 1730.
