The term dilapidations is normally used to cover defects or disrepair which you as tenant will be required to deal with or pay to have remedied when you vacate the premises that you have leased.
The RICS Dilapidations Forum's membership has a 70/30 split between surveyors and lawyers, together with a handful of engineers.
The forum's key objective is to develop a centre of dilapidations expertise for members and other stakeholders.
