Brussels, 6 February 2014. A report from the European Commission on corruption at EU level has sparked a debate among real estate professionals as it concludes that the sector is quite vulnerable to bribery and corruption. RICS explains how it is working to tackle the issue.

Brussels, Monday 3 February. Last week, the EU adopted a directive aimed at creating a single market for mortgage credits. A landmark decision for RICS, as for the first time Member States will be required to adopt reliable property valuation standards. These standards are to be developed taking into account recognised international valuation standards, including RICS’ Professional Standards for Valuation, also known as the ‘Red Book’.

Az RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) számos ország kereskedelmi ingatlan piacát vizsgálva negyedévente felmérést készít RICS Commercial Property Monitor címmel. A kutatás célja, hogy egy összehasonlítható mérőszámot állítson a kereskedelmi ingatlanok piacán aktuálisan uralkodó hangulatot tükrözve mind a befektetési, mind a bérbeadási oldal vonatkozásában. Ez az első alkalom, hogy az RICS a Nemzetközi Kereskedelmi Ingatlan Monitor kutatásai alapján Magyarország tekintetében is közzétette 2013 év végi adatait.
