The RICS Machinery and Business Assets Professional Group is the home within RICS for those members who have a range of skills and expertise that allows them to advise on the valuation and sale of both tangible and intangible assets throughout the world.

This web page provides essential information about the professional group, its work plans and activities.

RICS Professional Groups are responsible for setting the strategic direction for the future of their specialisms and for identifying and serving the information needs of their members. 

The group has approximately 1500 members who benefit from:

  • An internationally respected qualification that is recognised as the 'gold standard' of professional competence
  • A regular and up-to-date professional journal that provides advice and commentary on key issues facing the profession
  • In-depth practice standards and guidance on a wide variety of professional topics
