The Surveyors Ombudsman Service is here to help

If you have an unresolved complaint about an RICS member the Surveyors Ombudsman may be able to help.

The Ombudsman is there to investigate complaints that involve maladministration or administrative failure such as: avoidable delay; not following proper procedures; rudeness or discourtesy; not explaining decisions; not answering your complaint fully or promptly; poor service; negligence; incompetence; and financial loss up to £25‚000.

The Surveyors Ombudsman Service is completely independent – just as a judge would be if you were to take your complaint to court.
