We represent over 125‚000 members who are involved in a diverse range of land‚ property‚ construction and environmental issues.

Our members do a lot more than people realise. Not only are they experts in all matters relating to land‚ property and construction‚ but they can also offer strategic advice in the economics‚ valuation‚ finance‚ investment and management of all the world’s physical assets.

RICS is accountable to both its members and the public and has three main roles. These are:

• to protect the interests of consumers and businesses through strict regulation of the profession;
• maintain the highest standards of education and training in the surveying profession; and
• to be the leading source of information and independent advice on land‚ property‚ construction and associated environmental issues.
