Routes to membership

A number of different routes to membership have been developed to enable individuals from school-leavers through to professionals working in land, property and construction to gain RICS membership.

Membership of RICS offers you an internationally recognised professional qualification that will increase your status in the sector that you operate in.

Your route to RICS membership will depend on your current level of professional experience, the qualifications that you hold and your current role.

Some routes to membership require you to have an RICS accredited degree. For a full list of RICS accredited courses visit www.rics.org/courses
